To measure blood sugar, wash hands, insert a strip into a meter, perform fingerstick with a lancing device, touch the strip to the blood drop, and remove your finger when the flashing hourglass symbol appears. The test results show if the result falls above, within, or below the target range, which can be customized for therapy goals.
Store test strips at 4-30°C, use them at 4-45°C, and maintain humidity between 10-90%. Avoid high heat and moisture areas. Store unused strips in their original container, tightly close after removal, and use immediately after removal.
