Before you start
Clean the tip with alcohol or warm soapy water, then dry it.
Make sure the thermometer has a working battery.
Turn it on by pressing the power button.

How to measure temperature
1. Oral (mouth) – for adults & older children
Place the tip under the tongue, toward the back.
Close the mouth gently.
Wait until you hear a beep (about 8–10 seconds).
Remove and read the display.

2. Axillary (underarm) – common for babies
Dry the armpit.
Place the tip in the center of the armpit.
Hold the arm tightly against the body.
Wait for the beep.
Read the temperature.

3. Rectal – most accurate for infants
Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the tip.
Lay the baby on their back or tummy.
Gently insert the tip about 1–2 cm only into the rectum.
Hold still until it beeps.
Remove and read.

After use
Clean the tip again with alcohol or warm soapy water.
Dry and store in a safe place.
The thermometer turns off automatically after use.
