Betadine Gargle & Mouthwash contains povidone iodine 1%, a broad-spectrum antiseptic that helps reduce microorganisms in the mouth and throat. It may be used for oral hygiene and temporary management of sore throat, minor mouth infections and gum irritation.
  • Active Ingredient: Povidone Iodine 1%
  • Used For: Oral hygiene and antiseptic care of the mouth and throat.
  • Medicine Type: Antiseptic mouthwash and gargle.
  • Use undiluted and gargle or rinse for 30 seconds.
  • For routine mouthwash use, dilute with two parts water.
  • Repeat every 3–4 hours if required.
  • Spit out after use.
  • Do not swallow.
  • Do not use if allergic to iodine or povidone iodine.
  • Avoid prolonged use unless advised by a healthcare professional.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
