Betadine Gargle & Mouthwash contains povidone iodine 1%, a broad-spectrum antiseptic that helps reduce bacteria, viruses and fungi in the mouth and throat. It supports oral hygiene and may help relieve minor throat and mouth infections when used as directed.
- Active Ingredient: Povidone Iodine 1%
- Used For: Oral hygiene and antiseptic care of the mouth and throat.
- Medicine Type: Antiseptic mouthwash and gargle.
- Use undiluted and gargle or rinse for 30 seconds.
- For routine mouthwash use, dilute with two parts water.
- Repeat every 3–4 hours if required.
- Spit out after use.
- Do not swallow.
- Do not use if allergic to iodine or povidone iodine.
- Avoid prolonged use unless advised by a healthcare professional.
